1.1 What is Hacking/Hacker

Hacking is an art of finding weakness in any system in order to exploit it and get complete or partial access to the system.

In other words we can say that a Hacker is a computer expert who studies the computer system, finds weak points of the system and then use them to crack the system in order to damage, manipulate or delete the confidential data which is not easily available to others without the permission of it’s owner. This process carried away by a hacker is called the art of hacking. 

Hacking is considered as a criminal offense as it is solely based on penetrating some one’s privacy. From now, we will provide you some best Ethical Hacking Tutorials.

1.2 What is Ethical Hacking

Some of you, if new might be thinking that why to learn hacking if it’s a crime ? Is it dangerous to learn hacking ? and many more questions must be there in your mind, but relax. Let me answer all the questions.

Yes, hacking is a criminal act but it can also be done in a way to prevent the accidental/manual loss or manipulation of data. As well as a Hacker only can stop a Hacker to attack on any system. Until you don’t know “how the thief will enter your house, you can’t make a plan to stop him”.

In all, if hacking is done by keeping the Cyber Ethics in mind for well being of some one and resisting malicious hacking then it is termed as Ethical Hacking.

1.3 Classification of Hackers (based on their working)

This classification of hackers on basis of their working will classify them in three categories, each category consists a community of hackers arranged with regards to their working intentions, working strategies and aim.

Black Hat Hackers

Basically these hackers are crackers indulge in performing illegal activities for sake of their profit, doesn’t matter if they are harming others property. They are the best technician, who use advance programming skills to manipulate a system in order to accomplish their mission.

White Hat Hackers

These are the hackers who are same as black hat hackers in aspects of knowledge, technique and skills but their intentions behind hacking are ethical. They don’t break Cyber Ethics and they are mainly employed to stop the criminal community. They do the same things as a black hat hacker does, for example they test a system for it’s weakness but the black hat use that weakness for accessing the system and a white hat helps the owner to fix the vulnerability.

This classification aspect will also break the group of hackers in three classes on basis of the level of knowledge they carry.

Noob

A noob is the hacker who wants to learn hacking and still has nothing in his arsenal.

Script Kiddies

These are the most dangerous class f hackers as they are new to the field and knows basic things about hacking. They uses the tools and pre-coded scripts to perform their actions. They are not very aware about what they are going to do and they can be very harmful to mankind.
